Q1: Why is SpiceJet moving to Terminal 2 (T2) at IGI Airport New Delhi?
Ans: The Terminal 1 at Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI), New Delhi will undergo major expansion and renovation for accommodating the growth in the aviation sector.
Q2: Which flights of SpiceJet are being shifted to Terminal 2?
Ans: Flight from and to Adampur, Ahmedabad, Cochin, Goa, Gorakhpur, Jaipur, Patna, Pune, Surat and Udaipur will be operated from Terminal 2 of IGI Airport at New Delhi.
Q3: Is there any identification of these flights?
Ans: All the flights operating from Terminal 2 will have four (4) digit flight numbers starting with the numeric ‘8’ (Eight), for instance, SG 8913.
Q4: Has SpiceJet shared this information of partial movement of operations to Terminal 2 (T2) with its customers?
Ans: Yes, SpiceJet has sent e-mailers/SMS notifications well in advance informing them of this move. However, in case some customers do not have information of this move, we have made arrangements for passengers to be dropped at T2 from T1D.
Q5: Where is Terminal 2 (T2)?

Q6: What mode of conveyance can one use to reach Terminal 2?
Ans: One can use the following popular modes of conveyance to reach Terminal 2:-
- Taxi or Private Car
- Airport Express Metro. Alight at Terminal 3 and walk up to Terminal 2. It will take approximately 10 minutes
- DTC bus services from ISBT Kashmere Gate
- Shuttle bus services from Terminal 1 and Terminal 3
- Auto rickshaw till Public Transport Centre near Centaur Hotel IGI Airport and then, use shuttle bus service to Terminal 2.
Q7: What will happen if I miss my flight due to this Terminal change?
Ans: If you reach SpiceJet Airport Counters 45 minutes prior to the time of departure of your flight, we will make every effort to connect you to your flight. However if you are not able to make it on time, SpiceJet will reschedule your flight without any additional charges for travel dates up to 10th April, 2018.
