HOW TO BOOK INDIAN ARMED FORCES DISCOUNT

The Indian Armed Forces discount can be availed when booking your flight via the
SpiceJet website, mobile app, reservation centre, select airport ticketing counters, or
authorised travel agency portals. While searching for your preferred flight, you will see
the ‘Armed Forces’ option displayed on the homepage.

This discount is available to serving J&K Police (excluding their families), retired Indian
Armed Forces, paramilitary personnel, and their families. Please note that the discount
applies only to domestic direct flights.

  1. Who is eligible for the Indian Armed Forces discount?
    The Indian Armed Forces discount is available for active and retired members of the Indian Armed Forces and paramilitary personnel along with their families. It also extends to serving J&K Police (excluding their families).
  2. How much is the discount under the Indian Armed Forces bookings?
    SpiceJet offers up to a 21% discount on the base fare for eligible bookings. Passenger Service Fees and relevant airport charges still apply.
  3. Can I combine this discount with other promotional offers?
    No, this discount cannot be combined with other promotional offers. If another discount is available, the total discount will be limited to 21%.

The discount is available at airport counters in specific cities, including Jammu, Amritsar, Goa, Agartala, Srinagar, Dehradun, Bagdogra, Guwahati, Port Blair, Vishakhapatnam, and Jabalpur.

    Yes, the discount applies to both one-way and round-trip bookings on domestic direct flights only.
  6. Are bookings made with this discount changeable and refundable?
    Yes, bookings made with the Indian Armed Forces discount are changeable and refundable. However, they are not transferable, meaning name changes are not permitted.
  7. Do I need any special documents to carry for check-in?
    Yes, passengers must present a valid defence or dependent ID card at the check-in counter and boarding gate to verify eligibility. Failure to show a valid ID may result in additional charges or denial of boarding.
  8. Are there any restrictions on the fare?
