Kochi

Kochi (colonial name Kochi) also informally referred to as the Gateway to Kerala is a vibrant city situated on the south-west coast of the Indian peninsula and is part of the district of Ernakulam. Kochi, Kochi's city's modern name is derived from the Malayalam words, Koch Azhi, meaning 'small lagoon'.
