Gurugram, 16 July 2024 – SpiceJet is pleased to announce the appointment of Joyakesh Podder as the new Head of Finance designated as Dy. Chief Financial Officer of the Company, effective from 15 July 2024. Podder, a seasoned Chartered Accountant with over three decades of experience, brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his new role.
Podder’s extensive career spans prominent positions in major organizations including PwC, Go Air, Mahindra, and Reliance, with significant contributions in the aviation, hospitality, and telecom sectors. This appointment marks his second tenure with SpiceJet, underscoring his valuable connection with the company.
Podder was offered this pivotal role in April 2024 and has now joined the SpiceJet team to lead the finance department and support the company's strategic financial initiatives.
The Company also announces the resignation of Ashish Kumar, who served as the Head of Finance and Chief Financial Officer. We thank Kumar for his service and contributions to SpiceJet and wish him all the best in his future endeavours.
