SpiceJet Launches Daily Non-Stop Flights Connecting Delhi and Kathmandu
Bookings Open Now | Flights Start May 10, 2025

GURUGRAM, April 4, 2025: Get ready to fly to the land of the Himalayas! SpiceJet is excited to announce the launch of its daily non-stop flights connecting Delhi and Kathmandu starting May 10, 2025. This marks SpiceJet’s first new international destination since its successful Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP).

Debojo Maharshi, Chief Business Officer, SpiceJet, said, “We are thrilled to introduce daily non-stop flights between Delhi and Kathmandu, one of the most sought-after routes in the region. Think ancient temples, bustling bazaars, and the gateway to eight of the world’s tallest peaks, including Everest – all just a SpiceJet flight away! And for our friends in Nepal, Delhi becomes your springboard to the world, with seamless connections to Dubai, the Middle East, and beyond!”

“This new route is a testament to our commitment to enhancing connectivity and providing travellers with more affordable and convenient flight options. As we continue expanding our fleet and network, passengers can look forward to more exciting destinations in the coming months.”

SpiceJet’s latest addition strengthens its international footprint, which already includes favourite destinations like Dubai and Bangkok. Since raising INR 3,000 Crore through the QIP, the airline has rapidly expanded its domestic network, launching flights to new cities like Shivamogga, Tuticorin, Porbandar, and Dehradun, while reviving routes to previously served destinations such as Gorakhpur.

Backed by multiple credit rating upgrades from Acuité Ratings & Research Limited and CareEdge Ratings, and a recent INR 294.09 Crore infusion by Promoter Ajay Singh, the airline has reinforced its financial and operational stability, paving the way for a new phase of growth.

Flight SG 41 will depart from Delhi at 8:10 am (local time) and land in Kathmandu at 9:55 am (local time). The return flight, SG 42, will depart from Kathmandu at 10:55 am (local time) and arrive in Delhi at 1:10 pm (local time). SpiceJet will operate its Boeing 737 aircraft on this route.

Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal, is a vibrant city known for its rich history, stunning Himalayan landscapes, and cultural heritage. A major hub for tourism and business, Kathmandu attracts travellers from around the world for its ancient temples, bustling markets, and as a gateway to the Everest region. This new route will enhance connectivity between India and Nepal, providing a seamless travel experience for tourists, pilgrims, and business travellers alike.

Bookings for this new destination are now open on www.spicejet.com, SpiceJet’s mobile app, and through online travel portals and travel agents.
