SpiceJet introduces Jeddah as its ninth international destination
  • First Indian budget carrier to offer non-stop flights to Jeddah
  • SpiceJet to deploy its state-of-the-art Boeing 737 MAX on the sector

GURUGRAM, February 04, 2019: SpiceJet, India’s favourite airline, announced the introduction of a daily non-stop flight between Hyderabad and Jeddah effective March 25, 2019. The first Indian budget airline to offer direct connectivity to Jeddah, SpiceJet will deploy its state-of-the-art Boeing 737 MAX aircraft on the sector. Jeddah will be SpiceJet’s ninth international destination and third destination in the Middle East.

Jeddah, the second largest city of Saudi Arabia, is also the country’s commercial capital. The city lays in close proximity to the pilgrim destinations of Mecca and Medina and its King Abdulaziz International Airport acts as one of the main transit points for thousands of Hajj pilgrims and tourists across the globe.

SpiceJet’s flight SG 33 will depart from Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport at 7.10 am (all local times) and will arrive in Jeddah at 11.05 am on the same day. The return flight SG 34 will depart at 12.05 pm and reach Hyderabad at 8:25 pm. Passengers flying to Hyderabad will be able to access SpiceJet’s fifty domestic connections thereby making it convenient for both business and leisure travelers.

SpiceJet will service the route using its new 189 seater Boeing 737 MAX aircraft, which provides unmatched passenger comfort and unique features much to the delight of our guests. The new service will enable SpiceJet to provide over 2500 seats per week on the sector.

To mark this important launch, SpiceJet has announced a special fare of INR 13499/- (all-inclusive) for Hyderabad – Jeddah and INR 10799/- (all inclusive) for Jeddah - Hyderabad.
