SpiceJet allows passengers to check-in baggage on their own!
Only LCC airline to implement self bag tag at CUSS (Common use self service) kiosks
  • Passengers to enjoy easier and faster passage through the airport by printing bag tags along with the boarding pass in the Kiosks
  • Facility launched at Mumbai airport, soon to be available at all SITA managed airports

Gurgaon, 21 July, 2016: SpiceJet passengers now flying out of Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, Domestic terminal Mumbai will no longer have to stand in long queues for check-in as the airline is all set to offer self-service check-in to its passengers. In another effort towards raising the customer convenience bar, SpiceJet the country’s most innovative low fare airline has implemented Self service check in and bag tag printing from SITA CUSS kiosks across the Mumbai airport.

A highly acclaimed service in the international markets, SpiceJet is the only domestic airline to provide this facility in the country. Enabling customers to avail convenience through technological advancements, the SpiceJet CUSS application has been designed to allow passengers to quickly and easily print bag tags leave the baggage at the drop-in counter and proceed for security check. The service will be available in addition to the existing counters where SpiceJet staff will assist passengers who prefer manual check-in.

Mumbai being the second busiest airport in the country the airline has launched the service at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, domestic terminal with active participation and support of MIAL and SITA Airport Managed Services.
