Gurgaon, 27 October, 2016: SpiceJet, India’s favourite budget airline
today announced the launch of its daily, direct flight on the Mangalore – Dubai route.
The airline will be operating the new flights effective from 30th October ’16. To
celebrate the launch of the new sector, the airline is offering tickets at an all
inclusive introductory fare of Rs. 6013.
The airline will operate a daily direct flight SG 59 on the Mangalore – Dubai route
departing at 0.20 am. Whereas SG 60 will be operational on the Dubai – Mangalore route
departing at 12.55 pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday and at 3.40 am
on Monday and Saturday respectively. SpiceJet will deploy its Boeing 737 fleet for the
newly devised schedule.
Dubai is one of SpiceJet’s six international destinations and with the launch, SpiceJet
now serves non-stop flights to Dubai from ten Indian cities – Ahmedabad, Amritsar,
Delhi, Jaipur, Kochi, Kozhikode, Madurai, Mumbai, Pune and Mangalore and with
connections from Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, besides Bengaluru, Chennai and Kolkata.
On the occasion, Ms. Shilpa Bhatia, Sr. VP - Commercial, SpiceJet, said,
“Being the port hub of Karnataka, Mangalore city offers immense potential for business
travel. And Dubai being the key hub for Middle–East markets, a direct flight in place
on the route will further boost the economic activities besides offering a convenient
travel option for both business and leisure travellers.”

Karnataka's one of the most favourable destinations for business and currently is also
being developed as a smart city under Hon’ble PM Shri. Narendra Modi's flagship ‘Smart
Cities Mission’. The latest addition on the Mangalore-Dubai route comes in with the
clear intention to tap the huge potential the route offers for air transit to both
business and leisure travellers.
