Gurgaon, 6 September, 2014: Customers who have not been able to grab the SpiceJet sale offers yet, here is another chance for them to plan their travel round the year! SpiceJet today announced the launch of two new lucrative sales, offering discounted flying options to destinations across the country, with one way fare starting as low as Rs. 599 (including fuel surcharge, but excluding statutory taxes and fees)) and Rs. 1999 (all-in).

Tickets for both offers can be booked between September 6, 2014 to September 10, 2014 for travel between the periods January 16, 2015 – October 24, 2015 (for the Rs 599 sale) and October 7, 2014 to January 15, 2015 (for the Rs 1999 sale). The sale offer is applicable on all direct, via and connecting flights on SpiceJet's domestic network. With these offers, SpiceJet is giving customers who have not yet made their upcoming festive season travel plans, as well as those who want to grab the best fares for travel in 2015, another chance to book regardless of time of year.

“With air travel demand growing every hour due to the upcoming festive season, air fares will only tend to increase the longer people delay their bookings. So here is another chance for our customers to be with their families and enjoy festivities together at discounted rates. Customers traveling next year still have the opportunity to plan their holidays and make optimum use of the SpiceJet offers. With these offers, we bring to our customers an unbeatable proposition and are encouraging them to choose air travel while planning their trip throughout this year and next,” said Mr. Kaneswaran Avili, Chief Commercial Officer, SpiceJet Ltd.

“SpiceJet has been one of the main drivers of demand stimulation and market growth this year, as it adopted a philosophy that flying empty seats is a waste. This demand stimulation has been a win-win, with airlines earning more revenues, with travellers getting fantastic deals, and with the travel industry and economy at large getting a boost”, said Sanjiv Kapoor, Chief Operating Officer, SpiceJet. “It has been estimated that for every rupee spent on air travel, twelve rupees worth of economic activity is generated, due to the “economic multiplier effect”, he added.

The fares charged under this offer are non refundable and non changeable (taxes and fees are refundable). Since there is limited inventory under the offer it will be available on First-Come-First-Served basis and is not applicable on group bookings.

Booking under this sale can be made on www.spicejet.com, online travel portals and through travel agents. Customers traveling by SpiceJet can also pre-book their meals to avoid last minute disappointments, and can get to enjoy SpiceMax seats with significantly more legroom and priority check-in for a modest add-on fee if they so choose during the booking process or anytime after, using the manage my booking option. This option is also available for bookings made through travel agents.

SpiceJet has recently waived off the convenience fee for customers using internet banking to make payments through SpiceJet.com
