Jodhpur 30 October 2016: SpiceJet, the country’s favourite low-cost
carrier, today inaugurated its daily flight service from Jodhpur to Delhi. The
inauguration off the maiden flight from Jodhpur was done in the august presence of Mr
Gajendra Singh Shekhawat Honourable MP from Jodhpur, Mr Ram Narain Dudi Rajya Sabha
Member, Mr S K Singh Airport Director AAI Jodhpur Civil Airport, Deputy Commandant of
CISF M M S Yadav, AAI officials, CISF officials, representatives of Airforce Station
Jodhpur and distinguished citizens of Jodhpur.
The new flight from Jodhpur will now enable passengers to travel on the network of
SpiceJet’s 38 domestic and 6 international destinations including same day connections
to and from important cities of Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata and Hyderabad.
The airline has deployed its Boeing 737 -7000 aircraft in the initial days and will be
further serviced by its 78 seat capacity – Bombardier Q400 aircraft. To celebrate the
launch, SpiceJet had offered an introductory price of Rs 2499/- all inclusive.
Jodhpur a popular tourist destination also known as Suncity sees a lot of tourist influx
especially starting from the festive season.
Mr GP Gupta Chief Administrative Officer and Accountable Manager, SpiceJet,

our SpiceJet network of 38 domestic and 6 international destinations. This flight will
help more passengers to experience the joy of flying”

options to Jodhpur citizens and it will also see many more tourist arrivals to the
