early bird sale for travel starting January 16, 2015, offering discounted flying
options to destinations across the country, with one way fares starting as low as Rs.
499 (including fuel surcharge but excluding applicable statutory taxes and fees). This
sale will allow customers to enjoy fantastic low fares by planning their journey and
holidays in advance.
Tickets can be booked between from September 1, 2014 to September 3, 2014 for travel
between the periods January 16, 2015 to October 24, 2015. The sale offer is applicable
on all direct, via and connecting flights on SpiceJet's domestic network.
“While the number of travelers opting for air travel during holidays has increased over
the years, with the introduction of Early bird sale, this number will only grow
further. This early bird sale will encourage customers to make their holiday plans well
in advance and save on travel costs at the same time. This will also allow and average
Indian customer to plan for more than the typical one holiday during the year at never
before rates,” said Mr. Kaneswaran Avili, Chief Commercial Officer, SpiceJet
Ltd.
The fares charged under this offer are non refundable and non changeable (taxes and fees
are refundable). Since there is limited inventory under the offer it will be available
on First-Come-First-Served basis and is not applicable on group bookings.
Booking under this sale can be made on www.spicejet.com,
online travel portals and through travel agents. Customers traveling by SpiceJet can
also pre-book their meals to avoid last minute disappointments, and can get to enjoy
SpiceMax seats with significantly more legroom and priority check-in for a modest
add-on fee if they so choose during the booking process or anytime after, using the
manage my booking option. This option is also available for bookings made through
travel agents.
SpiceJet has recently waived off the convenience fee for customers using internet
banking to make payments through SpiceJet.com
