SpiceJet introduces new flight connecting Delhi to Prayagraj
  • Airline to operate the Delhi-Prayagraj flight during Maha Kumbh Mela
  • Introduces new flights on Hyderabad-Ahmedabad, Hyderabad-Bagdogra and Ahmedabad-Bagdogra routes
  • SpiceJet introduces additional frequency on the Hyderabad-Goa route to cater to the seasonal demand

GURUGRAM, December 17, 2018: SpiceJet, the country’s favourite carrier, today announced special daily flights to be operated during the Maha Kumbh Mela between Prayagraj (Allahabad) and the country’s capital. The airline has also announced a host of other new non-stop flights and frequencies connecting key city Hyderabad to Ahmedabad, Bagdogra and Goa. The flights on the Delhi- Prayagraj (Allahabad) sector are scheduled to operate from the 6th of January 2019 to the 30th of March 2019 while all the other flights will start from the 10th of January, 2019.

SpiceJet has introduced eight new direct flight services on the routes of Delhi-Prayagraj (Allahabad), Hyderabad-Goa (additional frequency), Ahmedabad-Bagdogra and Ahmedabad-Hyderabad. The airline will operate daily flights between Delhi- Prayagraj and Hyderabad-Goa whereas on all other routes, flights will be operational on all days of the week except Sundays.

SpiceJet is celebrating the launch by announcing an introductory promotional fare starting at INR 3762/- on Delhi- Prayagraj and Prayagraj -Delhi, INR 1997/- on Hyderabad-Goa, INR 1897/-on Goa-Hyderabad, INR 4603/- on Ahmedabad-Bagdogra, INR 4553/- on Bagdogra-Ahmedabad, INR 1913/- on Ahmedabad-Hyderabad and INR 2013/- on Hyderabad-Ahmedabad routes.

The airline will deploy its Boeing 737 – 700 aircraft on the Delhi- Prayagraj-Delhi route while all the other sectors will be served by Boeing 737 – 800 aircraft.

With the new flights, passengers from Prayagraj, Goa and Bagdogra can now easily travel to a host of other cities both on SpiceJet’s domestic as well as international network via multiple onward connections from Delhi, Hyderabad and Ahmedabad.
