Colombo

The largest city of Sri Lanka, Colombo is referred to as the commercial and financial capital of the island nation. In the past, Colombo served as an important port that featured in the trade route between many European and South East Asian nations. Today, Colombo is still the bustling seaport as before but has also evolved into a throbbing commercial hub. The colonial influence is reminiscent in the city's historical sites, monuments and neoclassical-designed buildings.
