HOW TO BOOK STUDENT DISCOUNT

Student Discount can be selected when searching for your preferred flight on our website www.spicejet.com or by reaching out to our Reservation Centre. These discounts are applicable on domestic one-way and round-trip flights. The bookings made under the Student Discount are changeable and refundable but non-transferable, meaning no name changes are allowed.

Please note that the Student Discount is exclusively for students aged 12 years and older, enrolled in a recognised school or university in India. It does not apply to friends or relatives.

  1. The Student Discount is applicable when booking through our website https://www.spicejet.com or via our Reservation Centre.
  2. SpiceJet offers a Student Discount of up to 10% on the base fare for direct domestic one-way and round-trip flights. Passengers are responsible for all other applicable charges, fees and taxes.
  3. Students booking direct domestic flights with this discount will receive 15 kg. check-in baggage allowance, with an additional 10 kg i.e. total baggage allowance of 25Kgs (1 pc only) including the additional allowance of 10 kgs. upon presentation of a valid student ID card at the check-in counter.
  4. Bookings made under Student Discount are changeable and refundable but are non-transferable, meaning no name changes are allowed.
  5. This discount is exclusively for students aged 12 years and older, enrolled in a recognised school or university in India. It does not apply to friends or relatives.
  6. When booking with Student Discount, it is mandatory for students to carry a hard copy of their original, valid student ID card issued by a recognised school or university in India and present it during airport check-in. Failure to produce the relevant ID will result in the nullification of all associated Student Discount benefits, requiring customers to pay applicable charges and fees, or risk being denied boarding.
  7. Limited inventory is available for this discount, which is offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
  8. Student Discount cannot be combined with any other schemes, offers, discounts or promotions.
  9. The company reserves the right to amend, cancel or withdraw this discount at any time without prior notice.
