 
                
                
                    
                        Visakhapatnam or Vizag is the second largest city in Andhra Pradesh, and a major
                            sea port. It is renowned for its shipbuilding industry, and is headquarters to the
                            Eastern Naval Command of the Indian Navy. Nestled among the hills of the Eastern
                            Ghats, the city is a perfect blend of secluded beaches, tranquil hill tops and picturesque

                                    - Ramakrishna Beach
 Popularly known as the RK Beach, the Ramakrishna Beach is an essential inclusion
                                            in a list of tourist attractions. The beach is very popular with the locals. It
                                            is in close proximity to several other tourist spots attractions, including the
                                            Kali Temple, the Aquarium, and the Submarine Museum.
- Kali Temple
 Built in 1984, the Kali Temple on the Beach Road attracts many devotees and visitors
                                            with its unique architecture. The temple is also famous for its Sivalinga, which
                                            is constructed of a large single stone.
- Matsyadarshini Aquarium 
                                        
 This aquarium is situated on the left side of the Kali temple. The aquarium gate
                                            is modelled as the open mouth of a huge white tipped shark. The aquarium has a good
                                            collection of marine as well as freshwater fish, and is a visual treat for children
                                            and adults alike.
- Submarine Museum
 The Submarine Museum is a one of its kind museum created in a real (now de-commisioned)
                                            submarine of Indian Navy. The museum is manned by retired naval officers.
- Kailasagiri
 A local favourite, a short ride on to this hill gives a visitor a spectacular view
                                            of the ocean and beaches. The hill has a ropeway that acts as a people-mover, and
                                            beautiful scenic views can be obtained from the ropeway, specially in the evening,
                                            when the city comes alive with all the lights.
- Ross Hill
 Named after Monsieur Ross who built a house on it in 1864, Ross Hill is a collection
                                            of three hillocks in proximity to the port, dedicated to three different faiths.
                                            Darga Pahad, one of the hillocks, has the tomb of the Muslim saint, Sayed Ali Medina
                                            while Sri Venkateswara Konda, another of the hillocks comprising Ross Hill, has
                                            a temple dedicated to the Lord. From this hillock you can see the port channel,
                                            which was the entrance of the inner harbor for ships and liners.
