SpiceJet celebrates the ‘festival of colours’ with tiny tots
Engages kids and passengers with ‘waterless Holi’ ‘Holi Dance’ and ‘joy rides’

GURGAON, March 12, 2017: SpiceJet, India’s favourite airline, this year splashed it big, celebrating the country’s most vibrant festival with children. Adding a dash of colour to brighten their lives, SpiceJet celebrated Holi with 150 kids from the Mala Smriti Home and Arya Orphanage both of which are based in Delhi NCR. The airline organised the most inimitable Holi celebration on ground and sustained the fervor even at 30,000 feet above the ground with unique initiatives like waterless Holi, Holi Dance and joy rides.

The children from Mala Smriti Home and Arya Orphanage got a chance to express their creativity and let their hair down while enjoying a Holi dance specially organised by the airline at Delhi airport’s T1D. The jig was thoroughly appreciated by all.

Exploring new heights of excitement, the airline also organised an exclusive joy ride for the 150 kids from Mala Smriti Home and Arya Orphanage Doing its bit to provide a lifetime opportunity SpiceJet deputed a special flight a Boeing [737 - 800] to embark on this unique one hour long journey while flying over Delhi with these children. The kids were thoroughly pampered on-board with delicious in-flight meals besides being gifted with goody bags from ITC and Amul, and SpiceJet merchandise giveaways.

Apart from eventful dance celebrations, the airline will be endorsing a #spicejetwaterlessholi, contributing to water conservation and a healthier planet. The airline will also be distributing waterless Holi stickers on 12th and 13th of March to commemorate the festival without the use of water, for the passengers to play once they deplane. While these stickers can be pasted on one another, the planet friendly novel concept introduced by SpiceJet will bring in a whole new experience to its passengers.

On the occasion, passengers will be welcomed with a chandan tilak when the passengers step in the aircraft, as a mark of auspiciousness. As a usual practice by the airline on the day, all cabin crew pan India will adorn whites and denims enhancing the in-flight ambience to match the festive mood. The airline will also be serving the authentic dish of gujiyas as part of the Hot meals on 13th March.
