SpiceJet salutes the spirit of Independence Day
To offer ‘meals’ and SpiceMax to Indian Defence personnel and kin

Gurgaon, 13 August, 2016: This Independence Day, SpiceJet, the country’s favourite low cost carrier salutes the martial and patriotic spirit of the Indian Defence Forces and their unwavering support to shield the country’s wellbeing.

As a gesture of gratitude, on 15th August, all passengers flying with the airline under the fare of Indian Armed Forces will be offered ‘meals’ and beverage at no added cost. And what’s more, in case of availability personnel will also be entitled for a free upgrade to SpiceMax.

Adding further to the ‘Independence Day’ ambience all SpiceJet flight seats, except SpiceMax will adorn tri color headrests. The décor will be observed on 14th,15th & 16th of August ‘16. The airline will also place the tri colour on the bulk heads of its Boeing 737 aircraft and at the entrance of its Q-400. While water cups with Independence Day art work will be used to serve water and beverages on-board.

On the ‘D’ day, all the cabin crew will flaunt a special dress code with males in their weekend uniforms and a flag pinned on their left collar. While females will wear an orange kurti and jeans with a tri-color band in one of their arms. The ground staff & In Flight Base officials will be dressed in ethnic attire in tri-color theme with flags pinned on their attire. While the pilots will have the flag pinned on their tie.
