SpiceJet unleashes the ‘festival of colours’ with a new spirit
  • Holi‘flash mob’ on Delhi – Goa flight, IGI Airport terminal & Gurgaon Cyber Hub
  • Holi freebies for passengers on board select flights

GURGAON, March22, 2016: SpiceJet, the country’s favourite low-cost carrier is all set to welcome the festival of colours - Holi in its own signature spicy style. Among the various activities panned out to engage its customers for one of the most loved and ardently celebrated festivals of the country; SpiceJet on Wednesday, organized a Holi dance by the in-flight crew for its passengers on board SG 171 Delhi-Goa flight ;post-boarding while the aircraft was still on ground.

On the occasion, passengers will be welcomed with a chandan tilak, as a mark of auspiciousness. Passenger seats would be decked with colourful scarves. Holi caps will be given away to all men on board thereby enhancing the in-flight ambience to match the festive mood.

The airline will also be distributing waterless Holi stickers on 23rd and 24th of March to commemorate the festival without the use of water. While these stickers can be pasted on one another, the planet friendly novel concept introduced by SpiceJet will bring in a whole new experience to its passengers who would be able to enjoy a safe midair Holi celebration without water or toxic colours.

SpiceJet is also all geared up to surprise its passengers by orchestrating ‘flash mob’ performances which will be conducted at Terminal 1 departure lounge, IGI Delhi Airport and at Cyber Hub, a popular hangout destination in Gurgaon just off the NH8 Highway. Apart from distributing Holi cards while on board across sectors on the 23rd and 24th of March, the airline will also be running a photo contest for its passengers during the festival, wherein winners will be awarded with return ticket and other exciting offers.
