It has come to our notice that fake job offers are been circulated on behalf of SpiceJet Limited by certain individuals/entities claiming they are representatives or under contract with SpiceJet Limited. Some fraudsters are using the name of SpiceJet Limited to solicit job applications and require the job seekers/applicants to pay processing fees or deposit amount by sending false e-mails or by making fraudulent telephone calls.
If any person receives any unsolicited or fraudulent communication offering a job or an interview call from SpiceJet Limited against payment of money, it is suggested not to respond. On receipt of an interview call for any job in SpiceJet Limited, the candidate may take some measures such as visiting our official website www.spicejet.com to get the contact details to enquire with the human resources department about the interview details and other relevant information. We also wish to bring to the notice of all concerned that spam e-mails are being sent in the name of SpiceJet Limited with the intention of committing fraud and illegally obtaining confidential information and / or money from people. In case you receive any such requests for personal information via e-mail, purporting to be from SpiceJet Limited, you are advised to make sure it is genuine before responding.
Kindly note that SpiceJet Limited does not:
- Send job offers from free email services like Gmail, Rediffmail, Yahoo mail, Hotmail, etc.
- Request payment of any kind from prospective candidates for employment.
- Authorize anyone to either collect money or arrive at any monetary arrangement in return for a job at SpiceJet Limited. However, sometimes recruitment process is done through professional recruiting agencies. In such cases, offers are always made directly by SpiceJet Limited and not by any third parties.
Accordingly, the general public is hereby informed that SpiceJet Limited will not be responsible to anyone acting on an employment offer not directly made by SpiceJet Limited. Anyone making an employment offer in return for money or other type of gain is not authorized by SpiceJet Limited and is not offering an approved job and SpiceJet Limited reserves the right to take legal action, including criminal action, against such individuals/entities.
